At Smart Jet Engineering, we understand that maintaining plant piping is crucial for industrial facilities for its overall reliability and efficiency. Proper maintenance helps prevent leaks, corrosion, and other issues leading to safety hazards and production downtime.

1.    INSPECTION OF PIPING AND EQUIPMENT

  • We conduct routine visual inspections to identify any signs of wear, corrosion or damage.
  • We use non-destructive testing methods, such as ultrasonic testing or radiography, to assess the integrity of the pipes.

2.    CLEANING

  • We clean the pipes to remove scale, deposits, and other contaminants that can impede flow and cause corrosion.

3.    CORROSION PREVENTION

  • We check and suggest implementing the right corrosion protection measures, such as coating and cathodic protection, to extend the life of the pipes.
  • Monitor corrosion rates and replace corroded sections promptly.

4.    PRESSURE TESTING 

  • We perform Hydrostatic and Pneumatic Pressure testing to detect leaks and ensure the integrity 

5.    INSULATION

  • We inspect the under-pipe insulation to ensure that no corrosion or pipe deterioration exists under the insulation
  • To check that pipes carrying hot or cold substances are properly insulated to prevent energy loss and minimize thermal stress on the pipes.

6.    INSPECTION OF PIPE SUPPORTS AND HANGERS

  • Check and adjust pipe support and hangers to prevent sagging, which can lead to stress on the pipes and potential failure.

7.    VALVE AND FLANGE MAINTENANCE

  • We provide Regular inspection of valves and flanges for leaks, proper operation, and signs of wear.
  • Lubricate moving parts and replace gaskets as needed.

8.    EMERGENCY SHUTDOWN SYSTEMS

  • Test and maintain emergency shutdown systems to ensure they function correctly in case of a pipe failure or other emergencies.

9.    REPAIRS, ALTERATION AND DERATING.

  • We isolate and replace the damaged or corroded sections of pipes following the correct procedure of fit-up, welding and NDT inspection
  • We Conduct a thorough engineering assessment before making any alterations
  • Evaluate changes in operating conditions, such as temperature and pressure.
  • We determine if the piping system is capable of safely handling the altered conditions.

10.    TESTING AND COMMISSIONING 

  • We provide complete testing and commissioning services from planning, through pre-commissioning, commissioning, functional performance testing and handover
